Paul Myers is an architect currently studying at The University of Lincoln. For a university project I was asked to choose an architect student to create a visual identity for. After meeting with Paul we agreed that a typogrpahic logo would be best suited to him.
From this point I looked at the 3 main aspects of architecture: bridges, buildings and tunnels. I then developed a way to incorporate them into the logo. The letters themselves are representative of a city skyline, the tail of the S is the tunnel, and the bridge spans the word Paul.
After the logo was complete I then created layout guidelines for his print material, decided on a colour scheme, and added a grid onto his stationery. Everything I chose has connotations of strength, an important aspect of architecture.
Following from the brand identity I had created the website uses the same grey strip down the right side of the page to house the logo and navigation. The site is kept very minimal throughout allowing information to be easily found and digested.

Working with Mark was a great pleasure. After we had a meeting to discuss my project he came back to me within two days with some fantastic ideas and direction in which I could take my personal brand and identity forward.
Mark was an absolute joy to work with and I would recommend him to all of my clients and friends. He bought a really professional feel to my project and instilled my confidence in him right from the off.
I will be using Mark again and again.
